Created by boudoir and nude photographer Yuliya Panchenko and filmmaker Eliar Tabrizi, the brand was born from a shared passion for visual storytelling and the belief that sensual art deserves a more meaningful place in everyday culture. MEET THE FOUNDERS
Yuliya Panchenko and Eliar Tabrizi are a married couple, artists, and creative entrepreneurs who have shared their lives and passion for visual storytelling since 2010. Yuliya is an internationally recognized boudoir and fine art nude photographer, while Eliar is a retired U.S. military veteran who pursued his passion for filmmaking by attending film school after his military service. Together, they are the founders and primary photographers behind Caferotica, combining their artistic perspectives to explore sensuality, intimacy, fantasy, and the beauty of the human body.
Their shared vision goes beyond creating beautiful photographs. They believe in challenging traditional perceptions of erotic art, celebrating individuality, and encouraging people to embrace their imagination and self-expression without judgment. And, of course, they share a love for coffee.
Their favorite Caferotica blend is Erotic Roast. Yuliya enjoys her coffee as a cappuccino or latte, while Eliar will drink just about any coffee he can get his hands on—even if that means biting into ground coffee. For them, photography and coffee aren't just passions; they're a way of life.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to expand the boudoir and nude photography genre around the world while helping people develop a more open, accepting, and appreciative relationship with this form of artistic expression. For too long, the genre has often been misunderstood, judged, or pushed outside the boundaries of mainstream art. We believe the human body, intimacy, sensuality, and personal fantasy are natural subjects for creative exploration, deserving the same artistic respect as any other form of photography. THE STORY
Caferotica was established in 2022 with a relatively simple idea: create an online destination for selling erotic fine art photography. However, the founders soon realized that beautiful artwork alone was not enough to build something meaningful. Without a distinctive identity or a deeper purpose, the original platform felt like another generic online art store, and it struggled to find its place. Rather than abandoning the idea, Yuliya and Eliar spent the following years developing a more ambitious vision, drawing inspiration from their experiences working with real people through boudoir and nude photography. Conversations about personal fantasies, desires, confidence, and artistic expression gradually shaped the concept of fictional characters, collectible photographs, and a creative world where visitors could explore stories beyond the artwork itself.
Coffee had always been an essential part of the original concept, but finding the right local roasting and packaging partner proved difficult. The missing connection finally appeared in an unexpected place: a local camera swap event attended by Eliar for the Forbidden Frames project. There, he met Ryan, a film photographer who was selling one of his cameras. What began as a conversation about photography led to the discovery that Ryan also operated a coffee business serving local farmers markets. That chance encounter created the opportunity to bring locally roasted coffee into Caferotica and finally unite the two elements that had inspired the brand from the beginning. Coffee and erotica were never intended to be separate ideas; together, they formed the identity of Caferotica. After years of experimentation, conversations, and creative development, the brand finally found its purpose.
